WA:At least 8 homes lost in Perth bushfire
PERTH, Feb 6 AAP - At least eight homes have been destroyed in a fast-moving bushfire
that hit two suburbs in the Darling Range on Perth's eastern rim.
Hundreds of residents have evacuated from parts of bush-fringed Roleystone and Kelmscott
as firefighters battle to contain the blaze that started just before noon (WST) on Sunday.
A relocation centre has been set up in Roleystone and residents of a nursing home in
Kelmscott have been evacuated to a shopping centre.
