Fed: Airspace system facing overhaul after near-miss report = 2
The air traffic controllers' union said it felt vindicated by the report, although
more needed to be done to implement what it believed were essential changes.
Civil Air president Ted Lang said Mr Anderson must consult with the union, which was
made up of aviation industry professionals, to resolve the problems with the NAS revealed
in the Launceston incident and detailed in the report.
