VIC: National gallery under fire over Bolte painting

MELBOURNE, Feb 29 AAP - The Victorian government today demanded an urgent review of
National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) lending protocols after a $50,000 oil painting was
found at the home of former premier Jeff Kennett.

Mr Kennett said the portrait of former Liberal premier Sir Henry Bolte, his political
hero, was accidentally removed with his belongings as he cleaned out his office after
losing government last October.
